Stacy Wilson Stacy plays guitar and sings lead with "Just Us". He's been playing since age 14. Stacy's superb singing and driving rhythm rivals anyone in the business. Stacy is also an accomplished banjo, mandolin and bass player. Stacy's former bands include Hiwassee Ridge, Misty River, Stoney Point and Roscoe Morgan and Lonely Train. Stacy also plays guitar and banjo as a fill in musician in the Carriage Room at The Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, Tn.
Teresa Wilson
Teresa plays bass and sings tenor for "Just Us". She is also married to Stacy Wilson and has become his finest accomplished bluegrass student. Teresa started playing bass in 1997 and was setting in with Hiwassee Ridge shortly thereafter. Teresa handles booking, scheduling and day-to-day functions of the band. Teresa's former bands include Hiwassee Ridge and Roscoe Morgan and Lonely Train.
Blake Atkins
Blake is Stacy and Teresa’s son and he plays banjo and sings harmony vocals with “Just Us”. He started playing at 13 years of age playing bass with a contemporary Christian band called Salvation 81. Then he started playing some rhythm guitar and started singing with his parents in this band in 2009. We are happy to be able to move Blake to banjo this year. There is no doubt that this young man has music flowing through his veins and is a welcome addition to the band.
BJ Taylor Bj plays mandolin and sings harmony and lead with "Just Us". He starting playing mandolin around the age of 14. In his spare time, he enjoys practicing his luthier skills hand crafting Mandolins. We are very excited to welcome Bj to "Just Us" and look forward to a future of music and friendship. Bj's former bands include Cornerstone Bluegrass Band, Mountain Faith and Barry Scott.
